Matthew Grant retires from FDCQ Board.

Thanks are extended to Matthew Grant, recently retired Board Director and Chair of the Finance and Risk Committee. Matthew joined the FDCQ Board in October 2021 and, over that time, contributed significantly to the Board and the organisation more broadly, particularly in the areas of finance, risk and property management. We wish Matthew well with his future endeavours.

As the FDCQ Board continues to work diligently to ensure that children’s safety and wellbeing is paramount to our work, we are pleased to welcome three new directors to the FDCQ Board. Appointed in late 2025, they have joined the Board at a critical time as we look to the future and develop a new strategic plan. Welcome to Catharine Hydon, Jenine Smith, and Rohan Wilschefski, who each bring a passion for family day care and good governance, alongside their experience in the ECE, aged care, and emergency services sectors, respectively.
