2025 Annual Report now available

We’re pleased to share Family Day Care Queensland’s Annual Report. This year we navigated change, strengthened our foundations, and kept children’s safety and quality at the centre of everything we do.

Highlights at a glance

• Leadership transition completed and steady organisational stewardship throughout the year

• $1.2 million secured to build sector-leading programs in safeguarding, leadership and positive behaviour guidance

• PLACE continues to grow as a trusted hub: more engaged services and educators, more resources, and steady professional learning across the year

• Practical advocacy across Queensland and nationally, including clear guidance on reforms and emergency communications for services

• Enhance operational uplift: centralised payments, a new Critical Reflection Framework, and implementation of child safety reforms (1 Sept 2025); IHC quality work progressing
